  • Customer or “you”: the business or professional that takes out a subscription.
  • Account: the Customer’s space on the Service. It may bring together several leegues and several users.

  • Period: the paid term, of one month or one year.
  • Review: a rating, with or without text, published publicly by an internet user on a Source.

3. Scope and acceptance

3.1 For professionals only. The Service is intended for companies, merchants, self-employed professionals and non-profit organizations, for the purposes of their business or activity. By subscribing, you declare that you are acting in that capacity and that you have authority to bind the entity on whose behalf you subscribe.

3.2 Subscription in a personal capacity. If you subscribed outside of any professional activity, write to us within fourteen days of payment: we will end the subscription and refund you in full.

3.3 Acceptance. These terms are available before payment, through a link on the payment page. Confirming the payment constitutes acceptance of these terms, which prevail over your own purchasing terms unless otherwise agreed in writing. The version in force on the date of subscription applies, followed by any version replacing it under Article 21.

3.4 Language. These terms are drafted in French. This English version is a translation provided for convenience; in case of any discrepancy, the French version prevails.

3.5 International sanctions. You declare that you are not subject to any sanctions imposed by the European Union, the United Nations, the United Kingdom or the United States, and that you do not use the Service from a country under embargo.

4. The Service

The Service allows you to:

  • search for and track Businesses listed on Google Maps, in any country where that service lists them;
  • collect, at regular intervals, the public Reviews of those Businesses;
  • analyze them: ratings, volumes, share of positive reviews, topics mentioned, products mentioned, responses from the Business;
  • rank the Businesses in a leegue and receive a letter by email every week.

The number of Businesses and competitors tracked depends on the Plan, as described on the Pricing page on the date of subscription. How the Service works is explained on the How it works page.

Some of the analyses are produced by artificial intelligence models: grouping of topics, identification of products, and drafting of the comments in the letter. Figures are calculated from the Reviews; texts produced by these models may contain inaccuracies. The analyses are an aid to decision-making: they do not constitute advice, and leegue does not guarantee any commercial result.

leegue develops the Service over time and may add, change or remove features, without substantially reducing, during a Period, what your Plan includes.

5. Sources of Reviews

5.1 Origin. leegue analyzes Reviews published publicly on third-party Sources, including Google Maps, and obtained through specialized providers. leegue is not affiliated with, sponsored by or endorsed by Google. Google and Google Maps are trademarks of Google LLC.

5.2 Handling of Reviews. Reviews are reproduced as published at the time they are collected, without selection, verification or moderation by leegue, and are taken into account whatever their rating. leegue is not their author and does not guarantee their authenticity or accuracy.

5.3 Availability. The availability of Reviews, their completeness and the time it takes for them to appear depend on the Sources and the providers, which may change their access conditions. leegue uses reasonable efforts to ensure continuity of collection, including by changing providers, but does not guarantee that any given Review will be collected, or within what time.

5.4 Lasting impossibility. If access to the Reviews of a Source becomes impossible and the Service can no longer provide the essential part of what your Plan includes for more than thirty consecutive days, either party may end the subscription by email. leegue then refunds the portion of the price corresponding to the remaining Period.

6. Subscription and Account

You subscribe online: choice of a Business, of the Plan and of monthly or annual billing, creation of the Account, then payment. Before you pay, a summary shows the Plan, the number of Businesses, the billing frequency, the amount including taxes and the renewal date.

The contract is formed when the payment is confirmed. The leegue and the collection of Reviews are opened as soon as the payment is received; a receipt is sent to you by email.

You provide accurate information and keep it up to date. The Account is accessed with a code sent by email or with a Google account: you keep these credentials confidential and are responsible for the use of the Account by the people to whom you give access.

7. Prices

7.1 Rates. Prices are shown on the Pricing page, excluding taxes, per Business and per Period. The second Business receives a discount of 15%, and each additional Business a discount of 25%. The annual subscription is billed 10 months out of 12. Beyond 10 Businesses or 20 competitors per Business, the price is set by a quote, which prevails over the Pricing page.

7.2 Currency. Prices are expressed in the currency of the version of the site: euro, US dollar or pound sterling. Stripe may offer to let you pay in your local currency; the converted amount is then displayed before payment.

7.3 Taxes. The applicable VAT or sales tax is determined at payment by Stripe, based on your location and, where applicable, your tax identification number. The amount including taxes is displayed before you confirm.

7.4 Price changes. leegue may change its prices. A new price applies only from the next renewal, and only if it has been announced to you by email at least thirty days before that renewal. If you do not accept it, stop the subscription before that date: it ends at the close of the current Period, at the original price.

8. Payment and invoicing

8.1 Stripe, merchant of record. Payment is processed by Stripe, through its Managed Payments service. The order appears as “Sold through Link”: Stripe acts as the merchant of record. It collects the payment, calculates, collects and remits taxes, and issues receipts and invoices, which are sent from Link. Your bank statement shows “LINK.COM*”. The terms of Stripe and Link apply to the payment transaction; these terms govern the Service.

8.2 Payment methods. Card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Link or any other method offered by Stripe depending on your country. leegue neither receives nor stores your card details.

8.3 Payment in advance. Each Period is paid in advance: at subscription, then at each renewal, using the saved payment method, which you authorize Stripe to charge at each due date until the subscription is stopped. No discount is granted for early payment.

8.4 Failed payment. If a renewal payment fails, Stripe retries it over several days and notifies you; the Service remains accessible during that time. If the payment is not made, the subscription is interrupted: collection stops and your data is retained under Article 19. Any amount due and unpaid on its due date automatically bears late payment penalties at three times the French statutory interest rate, and gives rise to a fixed recovery fee of €40 (Article L441-10 of the French Commercial Code).

8.5 Refunds. Except in the cases provided for in Articles 3.2, 5.4, 12.3, 12.4 and 17, amounts paid are non-refundable, including if the subscription is stopped during a Period. This does not prevent any refunds that Stripe may grant through Link support.

9. Term and renewal

The subscription is taken out for a Period of one month or one year, as chosen at subscription. It renews automatically at each due date, for a Period of the same length and on the same date, until it is stopped, at the price in force under Article 7.4.

Before each renewal of an annual subscription, a reminder is sent to you by email at least seven days before the due date.

10. Changing Plans

You may change your Plan or the number of Businesses during the subscription. The price difference, whether higher or lower, is calculated pro rata for the remaining Period and carried over to the next invoice. Switching from an annual to a monthly subscription takes effect at the end of the current annual Period.

Moving to a Plan with fewer competitors requires you to choose those whose tracking is paused: their Reviews already collected are kept.

11. Stopping by the Customer

You may stop your subscription at any time, from your Link account (accessible from each receipt) or by writing to contact@leegue.app. You will receive confirmation by email.

It takes effect at the end of the paid Period: at the end of the current month for a monthly subscription, at the end of the current year for an annual subscription. Until then, collection and the weekly letter continue. The remaining Period is not refunded, except in the cases provided for in Article 8.5.

12. Suspension and termination

12.1 Suspension. leegue may suspend access to the Account without notice in the event of a serious breach of Article 13, a threat to the security of the Service or a request from an authority. leegue informs you and states the reason.

12.2 Termination for breach by the Customer. If a serious breach of these terms is not remedied within fifteen days of a formal notice sent by email, leegue may terminate the subscription. Amounts paid remain due to leegue.

12.3 Termination for breach by leegue. Under the same conditions, you may terminate the subscription if leegue seriously breaches its obligations. The portion of the price corresponding to the remaining Period is then refunded to you.

12.4 Discontinuation of the Service. leegue may stop providing the Service by notifying you by email at least three months in advance. The portion of the price corresponding to the remaining Period is then refunded to you.

13. Use of the Service

The Service is intended for the internal needs of your business. You agree not to:

  • resell or sublicense the Service, or make its data available to third parties outside your organization;
  • extract or republish Reviews and analyses in bulk, in particular to build a database;
  • use Reviews to identify, contact, solicit or profile their authors, or to harm them;
  • use the Service to produce fake reviews or manipulate the reviews of a business;
  • access the Service by automated means not provided for, circumvent its limits, compromise its security or reverse engineer its code.

You alone are responsible for how you use the analyses, in particular in your public communications and in any comparison with your competitors. If you use Reviews to assess members of your team, it is your responsibility to comply with the employment and data protection laws that apply, including informing your employees in advance.

14. Intellectual property

The Service, its software, the leegue brand, the analyses and the letters are the property of leegue or its licensors. leegue grants you, for the duration of the subscription and worldwide, a personal, non-exclusive and non-transferable right of use, for the internal needs of your business.

Reviews belong to their authors and remain subject to the rights of the Sources: leegue does not transfer any rights in them to you. The information you enter, such as the list of Businesses tracked and your settings, remains yours; you authorize leegue to use it to provide the Service. leegue may use aggregated and anonymous statistics to improve the Service, without ever identifying you.

15. Availability and support

leegue endeavors to keep the Service available at all times, except for maintenance, outages or external events. Scheduled maintenance is announced where possible. The weekly letter depends on the collection of Reviews and on email delivery, which may be delayed.

Support answers by email, in French or English, at contact@leegue.app, normally within two business days. Questions about a payment may also be sent to Link support.

16. Liability

16.1 Best-efforts obligation. leegue provides the Service with professional care, under a best-efforts obligation (obligation de moyens).

16.2 Exclusions. leegue is not liable for the content of Reviews and Sources, for decisions you make based on the analyses, for indirect damages such as loss of revenue, customers or reputation, or for the consequences of any use in breach of Article 13.

16.3 Cap. leegue’s total liability, for all causes combined, is limited to the amounts actually paid for the Service during the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to liability.

16.4 Limits. These exclusions and this cap do not apply in the event of gross negligence or willful misconduct, to personal injury, or where the applicable law prohibits limiting liability.

16.5 Indemnity. You shall indemnify leegue against any third-party claim resulting from use of the Service in breach of Article 13.

16.6 Time limit for claims. Any liability claim against leegue must be brought within one year of the event on which it is based.

17. Force majeure

Neither party is liable for a failure caused by an event of force majeure within the meaning of Article 1218 of the French Civil Code. The obligations concerned are suspended for the duration of the event. If it lasts more than sixty days, either party may end the subscription by email, and the portion of the price corresponding to the remaining Period is refunded.

18. Personal data

18.1 Your data. leegue is the controller of your Account data: identity and email address of users, Businesses tracked, Plan, use of the Service. This data is used to provide the Service, to provide support, to secure and improve the Service, and to comply with legal obligations. Its processing is based on the performance of the contract, leegue’s legal obligations and its legitimate interest. Stripe processes payment data as an independent controller, under its own privacy policy.

18.2 Authors of Reviews. leegue is the controller for the collection and analysis of Reviews. They are based on the legitimate interest of leegue and its customers in knowing the opinions publicly expressed about businesses, and in detecting suspicious reviews. Only the information published with the Review is used: display name, public contributor identifier, rating, text, date and response from the Business. Within the Service, an author appears only by their first name and the initial of their last name. No other information about authors is sought. An author may object to the analysis of their Reviews by writing to contact@leegue.app.

18.3 Retention. Account data is retained for the duration of the subscription, then under Article 19. The text of Reviews and information about their authors are retained for no more than three years after the Review is published; statistics derived from them, made anonymous, are retained without time limit.

18.4 Service providers. leegue uses service providers for hosting, sending emails, collecting Reviews and analyzing them with artificial intelligence models. Some are located outside the European Union, in particular in the United States; these transfers are governed by an adequacy decision or by the standard contractual clauses of the European Commission. The list of service providers is available on request.

18.5 Your rights. You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability, which you can exercise at contact@leegue.app. You may also lodge a complaint with the CNIL (French data protection authority) or with the data protection authority of your country.

19. End of subscription and data

19.1 Export. During the subscription and for up to thirty days after it ends, leegue sends you on request, in a structured and commonly used format, the data of your Account: leegues, Businesses tracked and settings, statistics per Business and per period (average ratings, volumes, shares of positive reviews, topics, ranking) and weekly letters as they were sent to you. The Reviews themselves, their text and their authors are not exported: they belong to their authors and to the Sources, where they remain available.

19.2 Retention after the end. When the subscription ends, collection stops. Your data is retained for ninety days, so that you can export it or resume the subscription, and is then deleted or anonymized, except for data that the law requires to be kept.

19.3 Early deletion. You may request the deletion of your Account and its data at any time, at contact@leegue.app. Deleting an Account does not stop an ongoing subscription: stop it as described in Article 11.

20. Confidentiality

leegue does not disclose to any other customer or to any third party the list of Businesses you track, your settings or your analyses, except to its service providers for the purposes of the Service, or at the request of an authority.

21. Changes to these terms

leegue may change these terms. Any substantial change is announced to you by email at least thirty days before it applies, and takes effect at the next renewal. If you do not accept it, stop the subscription before that date. A change required by law, or one that does not reduce your rights, applies as soon as it is published. Each version is dated; previous versions are available on request.

22. General provisions

  • Entire agreement. These terms, the Plan chosen and, where applicable, the accepted quote form the entire agreement between the parties.
  • Severability. If any clause is held invalid, the other clauses remain in effect.
  • No waiver. Failing to enforce a breach does not constitute a waiver of the right to enforce it later.
  • Assignment. You may not assign the subscription without leegue’s consent. leegue may assign it to a company that takes over the Service, after informing you.
  • Evidence. The electronic records of leegue and Stripe, including payment confirmations and emails, are binding between the parties, unless proven otherwise.
  • Communications. Communications take place by email, at the Account’s email address; it is your responsibility to keep it valid.

23. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by French law, excluding the United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (Vienna Convention). In the event of a dispute, the parties first seek an amicable solution: write to contact@leegue.app, and leegue will reply within thirty days.

Failing agreement, the dispute shall be brought before the tribunal des activités économiques de Paris (Paris, France), which has exclusive jurisdiction, including for summary proceedings or where there are multiple defendants, subject to applicable mandatory rules.
